Fusion Food and Baked Goods

My Resume

Hi, I’m Malina.

My love for food comes from my roots, Latino, Native American, and Halal traditions, which inspire me to cook with both culture and purpose. Over the years, I’ve worked everywhere from classrooms to professional kitchens, and even spent three years on the Ute Mountain Reservation, teaching wellness through food.

Today, I’m pursuing a license in Nutrition Coaching and building my dream project, Hungry Mother LLC, a Halal Global Fusion food truck that celebrates flavors from around the world. Just as important, I dedicate my time to teaching youth, helping them see how cooking can build confidence and open doors to opportunity.

For me, food is more than a skill—it’s a story, a source of healing, and a way to bring people together.

Striving to be the best

I love creating dishes with fresh ingredients!

Restaurant Chef

My roots are in the kitchen. From running busy restaurants to creating menus and leading teams, I’ve learned the art of balancing flavor, culture, and wellness. Every dish I make carries a piece of my story and the traditions that inspire me.

Cooking Classes

I love teaching people how to cook. Whether I’m in a classroom, a community kitchen, or leading a workshop, I make sure every student feels confident, inspired, and capable. Cooking is more than recipes, it’s a skill that can change lives.

Non-Profit Work

Giving back through food has always been close to my heart. I’ve worked with tribal communities, youth programs, and local organizations to share healthy, culturally rich meals. For me, food is a way to preserve heritage while building healthier futures
